Do not use if skin is sensitive, sunburned, irritated or within 24 hours of waxing. Double cleanse immediately if product causes discomfort. If you suspect your skin could be sensitive or sensitized, patch test on a small area behind the ear or inner arm (inside elbow) to evaluate skin response and potential for irritant contact dermatitis.
If using Retin-A, Renova, Adapalene or any medically-prescribed exfoliating product must discontinue use at least two weeks before using this product. If you are taking Isotretinoin (sometimes marketed as Accutane), or have taken Isotretinoin within the past 6 months, should not receive any exfoliation treatments.
This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Must use sunscreen and limit sun exposure for 2 days after using this product. Slight tingling, mild itching or some temporary skin redness are normal reactions to a highly-active exfoliant.
